About the PRC

The Petaluma River Cleanup (PRC) is an annual, grass roots effort organized each year since 1994. 

On event day, teams of volunteers meet at the Petaluma Marina and collect hundreds of pounds of trash from the river.  Dumpsters are provided at the event and hauled away.  Educational displays, music and food are provided courtesy of our generous sponsors. 

Volunteers plan the event as a committee - which includes environmental planning representatives.   The 2009 Petaluma River Executive Committee is:
